Editorial policy
Eastern World Review aims to publish clear, contextual writing about Asian history and cultural traditions. We distinguish explanation from interpretation and take care not to present a region, community or tradition as uniform.
Accuracy and context
We check names, dates, terminology and claims against appropriate material before publication. Subjects are framed with their relevant place and period in view. When evidence or interpretation is disputed, we aim to make that distinction clear rather than imply certainty.
Independence and disclosure
Editorial decisions are made for reader interest and relevance. Paid or partner-supported material is identified clearly where it appears, and its commercial relationship is not presented as independent editorial coverage.
Corrections
If a published article contains an error, readers can contact us through the Contact page with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where this applies, we identify the illustration accordingly; images are not evidence for historical claims.
